Canby AKC Trial, June 20 & 21, 98

The AKC trials at Canby June 20 and 21, which were staffed by CAT members, came off smoothly and seemingly without a hitch.  Judges Liby Messler and Gayle George-Sackett provided courses that were fun -- and some that were extremely challenging.  Entries each day were limited, and the trial filled early.  For many CAT members, this was the first time they had had the opportunity to enter AKC's new game, Jumpers With Weaves (JWW).  This is very much like a regular jumpers course, but with one set of weaves thrown in.
Quite a few CAT members did well at these trials. 

Teegan (aka Cascade's Teegan of TrisSkor, AX, AXJ, EAC, EGC, AD, WAC), a four-year-old Doberman owned by Craig and Elanore Grench and handled by Craig, was High in Trial in Jumpers with Weaves and Standard Agility.

Way to go Craig and Teegan!

What follows is a list of members who qualified in their respective categories.  In AKC, a team must earn a qualifying score in order to place, so numbers beside a category represent a placement as well as a qualifying score.
