Cat at Rat  -- CAT dogs at the Rainier Agility Team's April 1998 USDAA Test, Enumclaw

The RAT USDAA Test held in Enumclaw, Washington, April 18 and 19, had a good
number of CAT participants.  It was a typical spring day for the area, with
spotty sunshine and occasional rain with some wind.  Since the building is
open on all sides, the participants are very sensitive to any weather
change.  As always, RAT ran a fun and efficient trial.

Saturday was a day that will be remembered by Skip Wendler and his
buddy, Too Tall.  They Qualified and came in first in three Masters events.
Their Pairs Relay partner was Hilary and Peanut.  Hilary qualified 5 times
with Peanut and Soni.   On Sunday, Marilyn Watson and Angus completed their
Novice Title and Dick just missed his, when Duncan ticked the last bar.
Also on Sunday, Craig French, with very quick Teegan, placed first and
Qualified in all three Advanced runs.  Their Snooker run tallied a mind
numbing 49 points, the maximum possible for this Snooker course.  Teegan,
even managed to place 1st in Jumpers, after knocking over the Tire frame.
Our judge Darlene Woz had  challenging courses and  was cheerful to the end.
